Nature Tour Guide

Share your love for the outdoors and inspire young people to care for the planet! We are seeking talented individuals to help us get kids into nature! Assist in teaching students about water conservation, changes in climate and sustainability as a part of the award-winning Ms. Smarty-Plants™ Program at The Water Conservation Garden. Lend a hand with classroom related responsibilities while working directly with teachers and students. As an intern you will work closely with the Education Department to learn teaching techniques, classroom management, NGSS curriculum, and sustainability practices. (Intern position.  Adult Education Assistant (In Person and Virtual)

Assist The Garden’s community class programs for adults. Topics range from horticulture & gardening, sustainability, art workshops, and do-it-yourself. Our ideal candidate for Education Assistant is someone who can maintain a positive classroom environment, and enjoys learning about sustainability practices, landscape design, food growing and a myriad of specialty gardening topics.
